Introducing Our Centre Manager
Holly
Hello, my name is Holly, and I am delighted to be the Centre Manager at Village Early Education Croydon.
As a proud mum of five, I understand how important it is for families to find a place where their children feel safe, supported, and valued. With 25 years of experience in early childhood education, including 17 years in leadership roles, I am passionate about creating nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, I value child-led learning, strong community connections, and meaningful partnerships with families and educators. I am committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child and family feels at home.
Find Support for Your Childcare Fees
Families also have to consider the cost of childcare, which can be quite expensive, but there are government programs to help offset some of the costs.
The Childcare Subsidy (CCS) helps eligible families with the cost of their childcare fees, making Croydon’s early learning and childcare centre more accessible and affordable. The amount families receive depends on factors such as household income, activity levels and the type of approved care they are using.
Eligible children enrolled in a participating funded kindergarten program may also receive benefits under Victoria’s Free Kindergarten initiative. This funding helps reduce kindergarten costs for families and can be accessed alongside long day care arrangements where a funded kindergarten program is offered.
If you’re considering childcare and kindergarten in Croydon, our team can help you understand the support available and answer any questions about enrolment and fees.

What will happen on my child’s first day at Croydon’s early education centre?
At our childcare and kindergarten centre at Croydon, families are supported through a thoughtful settling-in process that takes each child’s needs into account. In the early days, parents are welcome to stay for as long as they feel comfortable, speak with their child’s educator at any time, contact the centre during the day for reassurance and ask for support if separation is proving difficult.
On your child’s first day, you and your child will be welcomed by the Nominated Supervisor and shown how to sign in and out of the service. An educator will then greet your family, walk you to your child’s room and explain what is happening throughout the day. They will also show you where your child’s locker is and other childcare facilities, then talk you through collection arrangements for the end of the day. To help you feel informed and connected, educators will share updates about your child’s first day through the online app or daybook, while management will make sure all orientation steps, documents and enrolment information have been completed.
