Our Educators

Connecting with our wider community

Our Team Members

Our team is made up of dedicated educators and support staff who genuinely care about the children and families in our community. We recognise the value each person brings and support their growth through ongoing training, development, and a strong focus on wellbeing.

All of our educators meet or exceed qualification requirements, with a mix of Certificate III, Diploma, and degree-qualified teachers across our centres. Our Early Childhood Teachers lead learning programs that support children’s confidence, independence, and readiness for school.

We know that strong relationships are at the heart of a positive early learning experience. That’s why we focus on creating consistency for children, with familiar educators who take the time to build trust and connection each day.

When children feel safe and supported, they’re more comfortable to explore, take risks, and learn in their own way. We encourage genuine connections between children and educators so each child develops a sense of belonging and confidence in who they are.

At Village Early Education, our educators take a thoughtful, responsive approach to learning. Through observation and reflection, they plan experiences based on each child’s interests, strengths, and needs. We work closely with families to share insights and set meaningful learning goals, creating a learning journey that feels personal and relevant for every child.

Our approach to teaching is intentional and responsive. We see everyday moments as opportunities to support children’s learning, and our educators play an active role in guiding, extending, and engaging with each child’s experience.

We place a strong focus on emotional wellbeing. Educators create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings, and where they are listened to and respected. Positive, consistent interactions help build trust and a sense of security.

Clear communication is also key. Our educators maintain open, honest relationships with families, sharing regular updates and working together to support each child’s development.

Above all, we prioritise the safety and wellbeing of every child. We aim to create an environment where children feel secure, supported, and confident to learn and grow.

Our Early Childhood Educators Are:

Passionate about children and their growth

Children learn best when they feel supported by people who genuinely care. Our educators are committed to their role and take pride in building strong connections with each child. They find real joy in seeing children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and make sense of the world around them.

Committed to high quality early learning

While play, creativity, and exploration are a big part of each day, there is strong intention behind everything we do. Our educators plan experiences that support children’s development, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and a child-led learning inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach.

We focus on creating meaningful opportunities that reflect each child’s interests, strengths, and stage of development, helping them build skills, confidence, and a genuine love of learning.

Strong communicators

Clear, open communication is an important part of how we support children and families. Our educators take the time to listen, share, and build genuine relationships with children, families, and each other.

We keep families informed and involved, working in partnership to provide consistent support and encouragement for every child.

Committed to safety and wellbeing

The safety and wellbeing of every child is at the centre of what we do. Our educators are trained in first aid, CPR, and asthma and anaphylaxis management, so they’re prepared to respond when it matters most.

We also create environments that support children’s health and wellbeing each day, with thoughtfully designed spaces and a focus on nutritious meals that help children feel energised and ready to learn.

Are caring and understanding

We recognise that every child develops in their own way and at their own pace. Our childcare educators take the time to get to know each child as an individual, providing thoughtful, responsive care that supports their unique needs.

With a genuine sense of empathy and respect, we make sure every child feels seen, heard, and valued within our community.

Have a sense of curiosity and excitement

We believe curiosity is at the heart of learning. Our educators bring a genuine sense of interest and enthusiasm to each day, encouraging children to ask questions, explore ideas, and discover the world around them.

By sharing in these moments, we help children build confidence in their own thinking and develop a lasting love of learning.

Foster a strong sense of belonging

We understand how important relationships are in supporting children’s growth and development. Our educators create a welcoming, inclusive environment where children feel connected, safe, and part of the community.

As these relationships grow, children develop a strong sense of belonging. This gives them the confidence to be themselves, try new things, and learn through both success and challenge.
