You will play a vital role in leading and mentoring our team of educators and supporting the Centre Manager. In their absence, you will report to the Area Manager and oversee direct reports such as administration assistants, cooks, and cleaners. Your main accountability will span Quality Area 1: Education Program and Practice, and Educator Engagement, ensuring excellence in learning outcomes and team cohesion.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to take on this pivotal role. The ideal candidate will possess:

Qualifications: 

  • A Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution, as outlined by ACECQA.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Accredited training in emergency response, including anaphylaxis and asthma management.
  • Child Protection training certification.

Essential Experience: 

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in Early Childhood Services or a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, develop curriculums, manage administrative procedures, and liaise with parents and communities.
  • Solid understanding of WHS legislation and compliance systems, including the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and its components
  • Willingness to assume the role of Nominated Supervisor under relevant national laws and regulations.
