An Introduction to our Growing Villager’s Learning Environment

A childcare environment for our one to three year old’s

This learning environment for children aged one to three is designed to support the next phase of each child’s learning journey. Aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, our programs focus on fostering independence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. As children progress through developmental stages, our customised environments and programs nurture their growing skills and potential.

Features of our Growing Villager’s Learning Environment

Why choose us?

Our learning environment for children aged one to three years marks the beginning of an exciting journey of discovery and development. Our programs, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia, are designed to nurture independence, curiosity, and a sense of adventure for children during these crucial early years.

Partnerships with Families

The educators work closely with families to understand and respond to each child’s unique needs. This encourages a supportive and positive partnership to enhance the learning experiences, aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework’s emphasis on secure and respectful relationships.

We collaborate closely with families to align our routines and practices with the home environment. If your child is adjusting nap times, or beginning their toilet training journey, we strive to maintain consistency between home and our early learning setting, whilst adhering to best practice, policies and regulations.

This learning environment is designed to inspire curiosity and wonder. It provides opportunities for our Growing Villager’s to be curious about their surroundings. Through developmentally responsive resources, programs, and interactions, we promote exploration, and social and emotional development.

Our learning goals and programs prioritise building secure attachments, recognising that many developmental milestones occur during the first three years of a child’s life. The strong partnerships we build with families help us create learning goals that best support your child. We celebrate your children’s achievements alongside you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you personalise activities to suit different ages within the 1-3 year range?

Our program focuses on the cycle of learning in alignment with The Early Years Learning Framework. Experiences are developmentally appropriate which allows for progression of learning, no matter the age of the child.

Safety is our priority. Our facilities are designed with child safety in mind, with secure, child-proofed areas, constant supervision, and access to first aid. All staff are trained in child safety protocols and emergency response.

At Village Early Education, we utilise OWNA. This user-friendly app allows parents stay informed about their child’s progress, view learning goals, access weekly menus prepared by our chefs, and manage their child’s enrolment and fees. This tool fosters a strong partnership between home and the centre, ensuring consistent and open communication.
